Schooling problems, behavioural problems or reduced performance levels can all be caused by pain, muscle weakness or soreness, or joint stiffness. Physiotherapy can treat these problems and look to prevent them happening again. Equally, your horse may have suffered a direct injury and may need rehabilitation to get it back to it’s previous level or workload. Physiotherapists can treat back pain, neck pain, muscle weakness and pelvic dysfunction. We can identify issues with schooling, saddle fit, lameness and suggest the appropriate pathway.
Physiotherapists are extensively trained in rehabilitation techniques and are able to offer guidance on the best ways to successfully rehabilitate your horse.
